Engineering & Manufacturing Philosophy

Precision Ceramics, Built Around Real Requirements.

We bridge material science with practical engineering—focusing on critical tolerances, working environments, and manufacturability rather than standard off-the-shelf compromises.

Focused Ceramic Component Fabrication in Guangdong, China

Lontion Industrial Ceramics is a specialized manufacturer based in Guangdong, China. We engineer and machine technical ceramic parts designed to endure severe mechanical wear, chemical corrosion, and elevated operating temperatures.

Rather than operating as a general trading house, our operations center around actual production—from green body forming and high-temperature sintering to sub-micron diamond grinding.

Formulations Tailored to Severe Working Conditions

Every ceramic material exhibits distinct tradeoffs in thermal shock resistance, dielectric strength, and fracture toughness. We work directly with raw oxide and non-oxide technical formulations.

01. ALUMINA (Al₂O₃)

High-Purity Alumina Grades

Ranging from 95% to 99.8% purity. Selected for high electrical insulation, die-attach substrates, wear bushings, and cost-effective mechanical wear resistance.

02. ZIRCONIA (ZrO₂)

Y-TZP Toughened Zirconia

Offering exceptional fracture toughness and flexural strength. Ideal for high-pressure pump plungers, fluid valve shafts, and sharp cutting tools.

03. CARBIDES & NITRIDES

Silicon Carbide & Nitride

SSiC, RBSiC, and Si₃N₄ engineered for extreme thermal shock, abrasive slurry handling, and semiconductor wafer processing components.

In-House Machining & Quality Control

Sintered ceramics achieve high hardness (Mohs 9), requiring specialized tooling for post-sinter precision finishing. We maintain internal control over key finishing steps:

  • Precision CNC Cylindrical & Surface Grinding: Achieving dimensional tolerances down to ±0.002mm.
  • Lapping & Polishing: Achieving surface roughness down to Ra 0.05µm for dynamic seal interfaces.
  • Internal Quality Assurance: CMM dimensional verification, density testing, and surface defect inspection before dispatch.

How We Approach Ceramic Precision

Precision in ceramics extends beyond drawing numbers. It requires accounting for material shrinkage during firing (typically 15-20%), managing residual stress, and preventing microscopic micro-cracks during grinding.

"A print drawing shows the target geometry; our role is identifying how ceramic material behaviors will react in your actual assembly."

A Clear Path to Production

We streamline technical onboarding to minimize risk before full batch execution.

STEP 01

Drawing & Application Review

We evaluate your 2D/3D prints, operating temperature, media compatibility, and tolerance fit.

STEP 02

Material Recommendation

Selecting the optimal purity grade and forming method (Isostatic pressing vs. Injection molding).

STEP 03

Prototype Sampling

Producing low-volume trial parts to verify fit, surface finish, and functional performance.

STEP 04

Batch Production

Executing scalable production with batch-level material inspection and dimensional reports.

Our Working Principles

Honest Technical Feedback

If a drawing specification creates unnecessary manufacturing cost without functional benefit, we suggest design optimizations early.

Repeatable Quality First

A single good sample is easy; delivering uniform material density and dimensions across thousands of parts is our standard.

Long-Term Partnership

We grow alongside machine builders and OEMs by acting as a responsive technical extensions of their engineering team.
